The Host Controller is the interface between modules and PC.  It provides its own intelligence for managing the whole bus system without the processing power from the PC.

This module is the heart of the whole system. It performs the coordination between the PC and the other modules. Modules connected to the network will be automatically detected, and reported to the PC.

It is the base module of the whole network, and the PC must always be turned on to keep the network alive.
